Millennium 1989

Is "Millennium" one of those so-bad-it's-good movies or is there something in it that makes it worth watching?

I actually think it's got some very interesting ideas for a time travel story. I was intrigued by some of the plot's occurrences. The recovery of a futuristic weapon from an airliner collision, found watches that are running backwards. Both neat things that are mostly unsatisfying because we are forced to follow the corny love story between the stiff Kris Kristofferson and the perky but miscast Cheryl Ladd.

The only things I can really shortly after watching this is how freaky the android looked and how sharp Ladd was in a stewardess uniform. That doesn't speak much for the story itself.

Chiseled Kristofferson in a movie that really wants to ground its feet as a scifi-rom (?) but manages to screw up quite royally. Super slow pacing, pointless characters, filler scenes left and right. If you really need to fill 100 minutes of your time with a mostly forgotten 80s flick, go for it. But dont be surprised if you're left with a bad taste in n your mouth afterwards and have to wash it out with another movie. Its like they took the script, got shitfaced and went to town writing as they went. Skip.
