I give it a full +1 on the rating just because...
Beating a guy to death with a Tonka Truck.
Really really really really terrible.
To have a good time, don't ask for much more.
Why does poor Olga have to take so many C-tier genre: Violence
films? I just left, then deleted, this review on another film before realizing it was actually this film I had seen. They're so bloody similar. She deserves to have the lead in a well written film, but I have yet to see it.
I always like James Purefoy whether he's playing a Boy Scout or a villain, and Olga always gives her best whether she's the lead, and the film is trash, or when she's just there to fill in the male lead's dance card. This is the former, rather than the latter (eg: Oblivion, which I just watched). The much better version of the latter would be Quantum of Solace, where she was a real character instead of just a love interest, and the violence had a purpose. To contrast, this one exemplifies gratuitous violence and brutality.
The director clearly has a fetish for violence and torture involving women, and extremely juvenile character archetypes. That's enough for me to pass it up, but the former didn't come until further into the film, and Olga puts in a great performance that I still remember though I had forgotten I had seen this.
Don't bother. I'm not sure why I did.
The longest 90 minutes movie ever.
Good for a random evening watch ... nothing memorable either than seeing Olga in a movie :D
The occasional action scene helps the film gather a bit of steam but a terrible script ensures it grinds to a crushingly disappointing halt every few minutes. Not a lot of momentum then!
Plothole galore. Motivation of why many of the main characters do their specific things are very lacking. The movie could have been a lot better. It's not really bad, but it's definitely not a good movie either.

This is the perfect movie to watch if you have something else to do and you just want something playing in the background to keep looking at every 10 minutes or so.
