A "talking-heads" documentary that is somehow dull when it features John Carpenter, Joe Dante, Rick Baker and other Horror greats. The problem with this documentary is that it covers too much material. It tries to get at the nature of Horror through interviews with many of the greats of the genre. It's just all over the place from King Kong and Dracula to Tetsuo and 9/11. The whole thing feels like the Director/Writer Jorg Buttgereit got some funding to travel to the U.S. and Japan and secured a minimal amount of time with these big-time directors and artists and tried to stitch together the answers he got from his Q&A sessions.
