Too stupid to be enjoyed.

Offensive. Funny. When my dad sat me down to watch this movie some time in the early 1980s, I hadn’t yet fallen in love with Sam Spade and Nick and Nora Charles. I now have a better grasp of Poirot, Marple… and um… Chan. Oh this is so 70s. :joy:

A great and fun film with some terrific performances - and what a cast. That said, Peter Sellers in yellow face is a very unfortunate element to the film that doesn't sit well in this day and age (nor too do the mildly homophobic jokes) but since Murder By Death is fast approaching 50 years old, it's somewhat forgivable and if you can look past it there's a lot to enjoy here.

My absolute favorite film of all-time. When I was young, I would fall asleep to this movie every. single. night. I love it so much.

I remember watching this way in the past and enjoying it a lot but know i didn't enjoy it that much. Not saying it was bad, but just not that good
