Music and Lyrics walked so A Star is Born could run
The movie isn't trying to hide what it is: a sugary concoction of two of the actors that have the most sugar in Hollywood. If you go into the movie knowing what you are going to get then you will probably have a decent time with this movie. Both Barrymore and Grant are playing their best Barrymore and Grant and the chemistry they have shouldn't surprise anyone. That said, I liked it a bit more than I expected to despite the sugar factor.

I laughed at this movie way more than I probably should. What a glorious hearty gem. And I don't know if I was supposed to, but I LOVED the music. Yes. All of it.
Not the best storyline, but Huge Grant makes it worth watching.
