I feel bad for our two male leads in this film, Steve and Eric. They are professionally successful and have beautiful wives who love them. How is that sad? Because that's not enough for our heroes who are having what appears to be an early mid-life crisis because they think their lives have become dull and routine. So they want to try some Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice swinging since they have all been friends forever and make a pact for some fun with no guilt involved, never to be discussed again wife-swapping. Meredith Salenger turns in a strong role as Ami, the only one of the four who knows this is a bad idea but Eric persuades her with dropping his anti-baby stance if she'll just go along. Well, the night The Plan was supposed to go down doesn't happen as expected and the friendships are fractured as well as one marriage. Classic be careful what you wish for, you just might get it. Loved the ending with Steve becoming completely insecure and questioning what happened when the roles were reversed he couldn't understand Eric's points.
