My Week With Marilyn is an interesting drama that takes a look at the behind-the-scenes of the film industry. Based on the memoir of Colin Clark, it recounts his experience breaking into the industry and the conflict that arose between Marilyn Monroe and Sir Laurence Olivier on the set of The Prince and the Showgirl. Michelle Williams gives a stellar performance and becomes Marilyn Monroe. And the film provides an intriguing look into the private life of Monroe, and the conflicts between American and British acting methods. Yet, the story lacks a sense of completion and achievement; which is somewhat unsatisfying. My Week With Marilyn is an entertaining story, it but has a little trouble tying things up.
I don't understand the whole hype on Marilyn so the movie also didn't convince me.
Great movie! Michelle Williams is not as charming as Marilyn though.

Williams was great but the film was a bit flat. I don't thik i would watch it again.
