National Lampoon's Van Wilder 2002

"You think about the future too much and you kinda forget about the present."

I am a child of the 90's so this movie is special to me. Dare I say that this is peak Reynolds? Either this or Waiting. There are so many classic memorable moments and while it is a college movie about having fun, it's not really that gratuitous.

One of the best comedies ever along with American Pie!

This movie is why I loved Ryan Reynolds, and its just a fun ridiculous movie, don't expect anything from except laughs!

Van Wilder is better than you'd think. Sure it's National Lampoon's and has a lot of party scenes but it's much more than that. The central theme is that Van is in college for his 7th year not because he is dumb or lazy, but that he is afraid of what's out there. He doesn't just party but uses his social status on campus for a lot of good also. Ryan Reynolds in an early role really does well and you can see him at the beginning of what will be a distinguished career. Don't worry NL fans, there is tons on infantile humor and ladies. This is also worth a watch to see Tara Reid before her career got nuked.

This is probably my choice for worst movie ever. I just didn't get it at all, even tho it had Ryan Reynolds in it.

This movie is awesome,, for many reason and best actor is the dog, I mean he is awesome.

Kal Penn is the only one funny in this movie.

Its basically American Pie for college people but I found myself taken by Van Wilder's charm. Ryan Reynolds really carries the film and there are lots of familiar faces that pop up along the way. Its has enough humor and heart that I can consider it an enjoyable use for 90 minutes.
