No One Lives 2013

well, two movies from the same director (Ryuhei Kitamura) in the same night, both great. Another gorefest with a lot of action, story with a good go and characters well portrayed by the actors (Luke Evans is badass, America Olivo is hot :p). Suggested.

Solid genre film but nothing more. It's even shorter than listed here so yeah... if you're looking for light (but bloody) entertainment you'll be fine. Now it's back to waiting for Versus 2.

I know I've watched this before but I remembered absolutely nothing about it except there was a house in the woods, and a bunch of people running around and a lot of killing. And when you think about it, that pretty much sums up this whole movie. There's not much of a story to it, but if you're in the mood for a LOT of bloodshed and gruesome killing, this'll do just fine. Luke Evans brilliantly plays the part of a psychopathic maniac with not an ounce of emotion or remorse for anything/everything he does...and when you're in the mood for someone to get some cold-blooded revenge, this is your "go-to" movie. There's very little depth (but enough to make it interesting) to the story but plenty of violence and bloodshed all the way up to the closing moments. I'll probably be castigated for finding this a "brilliant" movie, but I loved this one. This was awesome...and one I'll definitely watch again.

Great movie to kill some time. I rate it 6 out of 10 because it is very generic, but not a bad one. If you are looking for a movie to spend your time, something that is not bad and that you also don't need to pay much attention to understand and have fun, then this is a good option for the night.

This is one of those movies that I thought was perfect in the most “B” rated king of way. It’s a indie movie with a lot of gore. I’m so glad this one came across my radar.

Not a slasher, "jallo" in the Japanese manner, without false motivations, just vicious bloody violence from the director of "Midnight Meat Train". This is how they filmed in the 80s, they shoot low-budget thrashers and now. Sometimes they shoot, but it takes more than just the aesthetics of the kills to do so. But the name is honest.

Final Girl: You're out of you mind.
Killer: I'm very much in my mind.

Like a mini golf course, No One Lives has some well made holes, but the links between them are weak.

The kills, the gore and the cheering for the killer are beautifully shot, but the uneven acting and the terrible script makes this movie sub-par.
