One of those movies critics were wrong about. I am sure the books are better though.

Plain entertainment. A fast paced action mystery with a paranormal background. Nothing better for a cool night movie with some pizza slices and a coke!

You've already been warned but there are some light spoilers ahead.

Having read a couple of Dean Koontz novels in the past, the storyline seemed good, Anton Yelchin and Willem Dafoe are both usually worth the price of admission so Odd Thomas seemed like it was worth a watch. It should not disappoint those who do not like their horror too scary and with a good level of suspense and plot twists aplenty.

Points were added for:

Referencing "The Sixth Sense".
An explosion that actually looked like it would level a shopping centre.
Bravery of the film makers not to wimp out on the film's ending and give us a happy one.
Gugu Mbatha-Raw, because well that smile.
Addison Timlin, because well that posterior and those lace undies.
