Once Bitten 1985

"He wants me because I'm nice and sweet and pure. So f**k off!" - the only profanity in the movie, and beautifully delivered for maximum effect.

"I have to replace every door you smash. Can't you at least try the knob first?"

From the era that bought you Weekend at Bernies, this is Weird Science with Vampires, and some great one liners. It's pure 1980s stupidity, with Jim Carrey before he peaked, this is slapstick, synth music, vampires, teenages and a dance off. It's also childish popcorn, but a lot more enjoyable than most 1980s movies

Totally cheesy and over the top, but this is a hell of a lot of fun!

Well that's all Jim's films that I wanted to watch so far and this one is pretty much his first big role and yeah the plot was a cheesy bite but it was alright with a funny script and not a bad act from Jim Carrey and it's amazing how far he's come from this film.

A very early Jim Carrey film, in the lead role, as Mark - a virgin (not by choice) who meets a sexy female vampire, while out with his buds.
This is very much a goofy, "I gotta get laid," 1980s comedy, only with some vampire fun.
Carry is great, bringing his brand of humor to the part, while also showing some real depth and charm.
Once Bitten is by no means a classic, but it is good, and has a fair amount of laughs throughout; not to mention, a dance battle! You don't get more '80s than that.
