This is not your typical Bollywood movie at all. It's not much of a musical as there is very little singing and it's not done in a musical format, and it's not much of a romance as the characters don't even meet until the last scene of the movie! It was crude and immature at times, and it was pretty slow and boring for the rest of it. The competition only takes up maybe 15 minutes of the whole movie and it was rushed and summarized. Everyone else in the competition was a better dancer than the main character. She did showy, sexy moves that require no real skill while everyone else around her was dancing beautifully. Honestly, I think there was too much going on and none of it was hashed out in any detail. Too many random relationships that are looping around and no real meaningful interaction anywhere. Quite the disappointment.
