Paperman 2012

Totally ninja! Haha love this short film, it reminds me of the old Disney films.

So Paperman won an Oscar for best animated short film and it totally deserved it.

The story is about a young man attempts to get the attention of a young woman by throwing paper airplanes by her window.

Paperman is only 6 minutes long and it was the most beautiful, the most adorable, and just spot on perfection, and that's only 6 minutes of film showed. It's amazing how short animated films can tell a better love story than real life.

So you saw it on the silver screen before, that's great - I would've love that too.
This is a really nice piece of art. I was so rooting for this guy to get one of his paperplanes into the window (^_^) hehe.

I haven't seen "Wreck-it Ralph" yet, but I heard it's superb.
And who doesn't love "Up"? ;D

By the way did you realize that every singel Pixar movie has a male as main character?
"Brave" is the first one staring a female as a protagonist.

the use of b&w i guess gives it a quaint, faux-vintage feel, which appeals to those that want to appear elegant by having taste towards old romantic flicks, but don't have the patience to watch casablanca

Simple, elegant and absolutely beautiful piece of art.

This, along with the husband/wife scene in Up, are my favourites.
