Perfect Sense 2011

The concept of the movie is very unique and original (to me at least), I truly enjoyed watching every minute of it. Every aspect of it was very well done and it really gets you thinking the entire time. Not to mention the chemistry between Ewan and Eva is insanely amazing and beautiful. It has you hooked till literally the very last second of the film.

I enjoyed the movie. I thought that the concept was quite interesting and alluring. It was not as good as some movies that tackle similar concepts. It shines a light on what is most important every time we forget which is most times. It is very positively focuses on what can happen to us as people when the worst is happening. I love it and it scared me a little.

Brilliant scifi. Bleak and relentless as the human race starts losing its senses one at a time, taste, smell, hearing, etc.. If Code 46 and Children of Men are movies you enjoyed, then you'll like what's on offer here.

Good movie, the performances during the deaf stage are exceptional. Probably some of the best scenes Eva Green ever had.

I didn't know anything about this movie before watching, I was surprised. In the end it makes you think - something you can't say about lot of movies..

Perfect Sense is a very different watch post Covid. Even though Covid-19 only temporarily knocked out smell and taste, the idea of a virus that can entirely kill the senses doesn't seem like science fiction.
I wasn't really sure what to expect from this movie, and I was pleasantly surprised. This is an outbreak movie, yes. Science fiction, sure. Horror, in a manner of speaking. At its core, this is a romance, and a rather moving one at that. Much like the people in the film, I felt so many emotions, and they were cleverly written into the proper moments to move the acts along, which would have been cliche otherwise, but worked beautifully here.
The closest movies I could relate this to would be Blindness (2008), and Contagion, which released the same year as Perfect Sense.
Truly a unique movie in its ability to be both uplifting and, at the same time, terrifying.

Highlights: 1. Seeing McGregor, and Bremner in another movie aside from Trainspotting. 2. Eva Green's rack.

This is a very strong movie that certainly isn´t for everyone. It is a movie about an apocalyptic event that doesn´t need any effects to sell the story. And at the end you might find yorself wondering about the world in general and how we live in it.

I enjoyed very much the fact that this is a apocalyptic movie, and the action is slow, with little artificies and all those big explosions and dramatic scenes that we are used to see in these kind of films. I really love the main subject of the film, which make it more human and we can relate to it in a much easier way.

I didn't like the movie but maybe that's because I don't like drama. But it's better than the other drama movies with Eva.
