Best low-budget Nick Cage movie in a while.
Nicolas Cage meets a poorly animated animal...
Movie is good to watch by the way, but nothing more.
"Meh" pretty much describes this. It was okay for a Nic Cage movie but there was absolutely nothing else memorable about it. With a co-star like Famke Jannsen, I was expecting this to be considerably better but she was as unremarkable as the rest of the film. (And seriously...those tan polyster pants right out of the '60s... :rolling_eyes: ) This is an "okay" movie if you're REALLY bored but like so many other movies, it makes the villain out to be the baddest, most unstoppable single force on the planet and a bunch of heavily-armed military grunts have absolutely no chance against this one dude. While I can say that the movie wasn't what I was expecting, I can also say it isn't worth watching more than once. Give this one a pass if there's ANYTHING out there that might be a fraction better (and there is, believe me.)
Nic cage is good in this, he plays a hunter. great animals in it. worth watching once.
The only thing not predictable about this movie is how bad it is.
Nicolas Cage is on the hunt for the most dangerous game in Primal. When a CIA prisoner escapes while being transported on a South American cargo ship and releases several dangerous animals to create chaos, it falls to big game hunter Frank Walsh to recapture the animals before the prisoner’s able to make his escape. Co-starring Famke Janssen and Kevin Durand the cast isn’t too bad, and Cage gives one of his better performances as a morally gray poacher. The CGI is a little weak but it works well enough. And the hunt for the prisoner has some fairly intense and suspenseful moments. A solid thriller, Primal is an entertaining B-movie.

Yup, another bad movie for Cage. I expected better from this one, but its still a stinker.
Just replace Kevin Durand with Carole Baskin then this would have gotten five stars.
Good suspense as the bad guy run.
and also i like always his movies of Cage but sometime's there are most better own's but this one whas also okay for me that's way i give him e 7 Good for this movie of Nicolas Cage hehe

Nic Cage did a good job.
But WTF is up with Famke Janssen? My girlfriend and I couldn't believe what she's done to her face. Eeeeck, sad surgery indeed
