Thumbs up for the soundtrack. The movie itself is a combination of dumb but sexy and cool at the same time.

The movie starts very promising: great soundtrack, a what seems to be nice idea for a plot & cool dialogs. But bad SFX, mediocre actors and a rather boring story make this a vampire flick something to forget...

An absolute disgrace to the books and to the author Anne Rice. By far, the worst vampire movie(if you even want to call this POS a vampire movie) I have ever seen. Doesn’t follow the books at all. Where is Louis? Where is the vampire origin story? Instead we get to see a shitty concert with awful actors…. Aaliyahs presence did nothing but make this movie worse. The actor they picked for Lestat does not compare to Tom Cruise on ANY level. That’s probably why you never really saw him in anything else.

Watch interview with a vampire again and don’t waste your time on this sub par piece of shit

Save yourself from 1.5hrs of cringe and misery...by not watching it.

I so wish I could turn off bad films, but I always hope it may improve and desperately need to know how it ends.

It had potential if made by someone else and better actors etc.

Anne Rice’s The Vampire Chronicles series continues in Queen of the Damned. The story follows the vampire Lestat, who rises to fame as a rock star, but his music awakens the Vampire Queen from her eternal sleep, freeing her to wreak havoc upon the mortal world. The performances are terrible, as is the script. And the storytelling is poor; as it meanders between seemingly unrelated plots until it rushes to an inexplicable conclusion. Queen of the Damned has none of the allure that its predecessor had, and is a rather pathetic attempt to resurrect the franchise.

I´ve seen worst - not many, though.

Either way I think even if you´re into vampire stuff this could be a dissapointment. Soundtrack is cool.

When this movie came out I was 6 or 7 and I swear to you Aaliyah playing Akasha was my first tv crush. I rewatched this movie I don't know how many times.
