I am not one for scary movies, but I do like a good psychological thriller. And if you put Emma Watson in it, I'm pretty much guaranteed to watch it eventually, especially if it's free on Amazon Prime. I think the director and writer gave one too many hints away too early, so that the ending was less of a surprise and more a slow raveling of events. As such, it took away from the mind tease that could have made this movie a notch above the rest. But still a good movie. Wish people would keep in mind the message behind this movie with all the events going on in the world today.
2nd week when it was not busy, has not convinced me so much as told in the end I figured that's what happened
One of the worst movies I've ever seen. So predictable
It started well although production is not great. As time went by I began to think in the obvious resolution. In the end, I think it is good as a movie based on real events.
Great acting in this, the story kept me til the end.
It's a real shame that a cast like Ethan Hawke, Emma Wastson and David Thewlis were all completely wasted in this drivel bore of a film.
We want to believe... and that's probably our weekness that's is shutting down our minds. ;>
Shallow,poor without tempo.Bad movie
Creepy film that held my interest until the end, especially as it was based on truth.
A simple thriller without any surprising events. 6/10. Solid.

As a movie looking back at a period of mass hysteria and paranoia, and the issues of trying to use regression "therapy" to work through traumatic events, the film is great. Truly. But going in with the expectation of it being a horror-thriller type of movie makes it incredibly disappointing. Again, as commentary on what it's based on, I think it does a solid job; being that it was marketed as something else, it's inevitably a letdown.
