Utterly delightful. Gorgeous stop motion, but it also perfectly harnesses a storybook energy. It’s an endlessly pleasant experience you could watch again and again, like a perfect children’s book. The artistry in the environments and characters are breathtaking. And the characters themselves are incredibly endearing in such a short time. Robin is lovable from the word go, and what’s great about her and Magpie is that they’re somehow both straight man and quirky goofball to each other. Combine that with infectious tunes, a gentle but amusing wit, and a heartwarming core, and it’s a film that had me smiling from beginning to end.

A very fun short to watch and that even with a short duration is able to captivate the audience.
