Seoul Station 2016

Visually beautiful. A movie that shows a lot of work from the animators but also that shows the lazy quality from the screenwriters.
Expected more, a lot more.

A painfully banal prequel next to the brilliance that is Train to Busan.

A movie where all people are dumb. Why do they keep the doors open while running from zombies? :joy::joy:

Not a good movie. Last 10 minutes even worse. But damn, there's so much whining , i couldn't wait for the zombies to munch on them

Not necessarily a bad movie, but mega disappointing compared to Train to Busan. The social commentary is shoehorned in to a point where the actions of people make zero sense, and the main characters are all incredibly stupid. Most of them are also really unlikeable, making it hard to feel invested at all. Some cool zombies and art, as well as a nice soundtrack, but otherwise it was just really missing something.

"Seol Station" does quite succesfully interweave a drama into it's zombie story and some slight social commentary too. Animated heavily with 3DCG it looks alright with the occasional great shot thanks to the technique. Coming from Sang-Ho the bleak ending was to be expected, having the unathetlic zombies is probably his compromise for adding some humor.

Pretty standard zombie stuff here. I wasn’t expecting this to hit the same way Train to Busan did but this was fine for what it was. Not sure how I feel about the twist but I do kind of like how this ended. I just wish there was more for the main character to do instead of crying.

I've seen 3DO Games with better animation than whatever this shit is.

really liked it. obviously it has a very low budget but the story line was really good even after being simple. and the ending was unexpected to me to be honest. overall a one time watch if you like zombie horrors and liked train to busan. apparently this is a prequel to that movie.

Really funny, campy zombie movie. You can see where they cut corners in their obviously low budget. They cloned zombies, the sound effects are pretty bad and there are many many times where the characters' bodies clip with each other and even doors and whatnot. The story is pretty simple but it's still interesting to watch and the ending was completely unexpected to me.
I really didn't like all the screaming, but appreciated how realistic the reactions of the characters were. I liked the animation style a lot.

Shocked! Great movie, I didn't see this ending coming at all. Worst of all is that it is quite real, in a way I can't see entirely fiction because certain events there are very fond of humanity, it is cruel. Only negative point for me is this form of animation that is kind of weird, but you can get used to it throughout the movie.
