I long postponed watching this movie seeing how cheesy the cover is and the fact that for some reason I associate Pierce Brosnan with romantic cheeseball Hugh Grant but... This is a surprisingly gritty western movie that nicely plays with who and what is the good guy and the bad guy. It has all the clichés a western has to have and it does them well.
If you like westerns and revenge movies be sure to check this one out.
Seriously underrated. Great actors, mood and music wrapped in a great revenge story.
Wow what a great movie! Pierce Brosnan and Liam Neeson kill it in this gritty western about loss and pain and redemption. Many significant cues towards heaven and hell as Gideon tries to evade Carver through wilderness and desert in a cat and mouse chase to right the wrongs of the past. I won’t spoil the plot but I highly recommend this movie.
