Seven in Heaven is an indie psychological thriller that’s full of suspense and mystery. While playing a game at a party Jude and June have to spend seven minutes in a closet together, but when they come out they find themselves in a parallel dimension that’s twisted and violent; meanwhile their friends back at the party try to get them back. The film explores some interest concepts about alternate dimensions and balance. And it’s kind of clever how both sides work the problem of getting Jude and June back to the right dimension. Still, most of the acting is pretty weak, and the low-budget shows at times. Yet despite its problems, Seven in Heaven is a thought-provoking and engaging sci-fi film.
The premise is better than the execution, but if you're looking for something Twilight Zoney, then this will just about fit the bill.
