Scary and brutal but with a rather strange (or even bad) ending: that is Shallow Ground, the story about 6 or 7 victims of a killer returning to life to take revenge. I think the ending (after burring all the corpses of the 6 or 7 victims properly, the boy himself is killed by another of his kind) is really stupid and was added only to have a reason for a sequel...
