Underrated/Underseen Crime Flick Picks of the New Millennium
All crime flicks listed here: small films, foreign language imports, high-profile flops or victims of unjust critical dismissal. Some were even moderately successful, but deserve to be in more conversations, others are new, but under-exposed. Didn't love every one of these, but they all have a reason to be here.

Great, decent and a very bad (that’s you Marlowe 2023) noir, neo-noir and noir-ish movies and shows.
Adoramos histórias de detetive de todos os tipos. Principalmente porque eles estão um tanto enraizados em filmes de mistério. Gostamos que alguém investigue algo, aja como uma espécie de anjo vingador. Também é divertido observar como o cérebro deles funciona. Existem também tipos de histórias de detetive que não são necessariamente sobre investigar algo, mas o personagem ainda é interessante porque seu trabalho se tornou sua vida ou teve um grande impacto em suas decisões de vida e em sua psicologia.

Film Noir is not a genre, rather it was a movement. The last true film in that movement was "Touch of Evil" in 1958. This list includes Film Noir, Neo-Noir, Post-Modernist Neo-Noir, and other films that were informed - either in theme or form - by the Film Noir movement.
