This was not horribly bad but. It's a mediocre B-movie at best. The story is interesting enough but it could have, should have been expanded on.

The opening movie speech removes any real desire to be concerned about these people.
They entered a contest to be beamed to a random planet and only the winners of the contest can return to Earth.
He said, "Be victorious or don't return at all!"
Anybody with common sense would not enter the contest.
