This movie was amazing.. I cried and laughed my way through it. Acting was awesome. Soundtrack was topnotch. The lines, the directing, everything. Must watch.
Heartbreaking depiction of a breakup
Despite the good cast, the screenplay wasn't, the movie was boring...
If you’ve been through a breakup with someone you truly loved, you can relate to this.
Well, I love Lakeith, Dawanda, Gina, and RuPaul as actors. But I wanted to slap this sappy movie off the screen. I wanted to like it so bad, why did it suck so much? sigh. Best scene by FAR was the subway interaction between Jenny and the stranger - it felt like an authentic subway platform situ. It is a NYC film thoroughly with neighborhoods and venues called out. But the lines are said too fast and Jenny is too cry-y. Otherwise liked the racial diversity and leading lesbian. sigh.
Dont believe critics.Its really boring.Worst screenplay.Nothing interesting
Great cast, good acting, somewhat boring/tedious script
This movie had beautiful writing, incredible moments; but throughout it I couldn't stop thinking about how I bored I was. Something didn't quite click with me. To be honest finishing it was a chore, and it took three separate sit downs to will myself to the end. I don't know if it was the way they chose to present the storyline...or the chemistry between the actors, something made me deeply aware of the time I was spending not being entertained. The choices in music; however, were incredible, and created a perfect environment for whatever the story wanted to portray in that specific moment.
Straight up snoozefest, finishing the movie felt like a chore.

Dude, that bombastic soundtrack :fire::fire::bomb::boom::boom:
Did I produce this movie in my dreams?
It was okay, good at the time, can't recall much about it now lol.
I think this film hits harder if you've had a long term relationship end for sure. But it definitely lulled at times despite the great cast and chemistry.
Maybe I'm a cynic but I could see the red flags in Nate from a mile off. Man was so jealous of Jenny knowing what she wanted and being successful at it. Literally turned a conversation about her celebrating getting paid for publishing around to be about him being sad about not being there yet. Like fuck off mate. Be a better partner.
I really liked Erin's storyline, felt very authentic and well written.
Overall it was about friendships and mourning the loss of an era. It did well enough.
that felt really cute and really genuine!
Nothing mindblowing or new about this but still somehow so good!
