A fight between Sammo and Donnie will never let anyone down right? This one is epic! And before that one we even get a little sword vs. Baton fight with Donnie Yen vs. Wu Jing!
Apart from those 2 fights, there aren't any real fights in this one, it's more about the story, a simple on but the ending will surprise you. If you are looking for fights, than you will not be disappinted by the two fights that are in this one, but you won't bee seeing any more.
This one is more about the slow build up. We get to know our lead played by Simon Yam as we know why he's motivated to bring Sammo down. Time will fly by watching this as it warms you up for an epic finale.
Anyway, really enjoyed this rewatch!

Sammo and Donnie steal the show as you would expect as the action is just insane from the two of them and knowing that Donnie directed the action just shows as you are watching.
Unfortunately the rest of this film had me going WTF, because the police are not good guys and the bad guys aren’t all that so you just find yourself confused and wondering who you should be routing for as Donnie Yen’s character is the only likeable character. Also the story is kinda bad as it’s all over the place and the ending literally had me facepalm.
Just watch the action sequences on YouTube and you can skip the film, if you want a Donnie Yen film with a decent story and great action then watch Flashpoint which in comparison is so much better.
