Artistically directed by Danny Boyle and featuring finely wrought performances, Steve Jobs is an engrossing character study, leaving its audience captivated as well as educated.

Good movie, though for first few minutes it looked kind of pale to me. Later I realized this movie goes beyond most other literature describing Steve Jobs and focus more on the kind of person he was, the emotions he was going through over the years and how it helped shape his personality. One of the great biopic I have witnessed in several years.

Michael Fassblender nailed Steve Job's character in the movie brilliantly.

Solitary, bloody minded, egotistical and generally it seems a fairly disliked man. Should any of this come as a surprise?

I would have imagined that the focus required to deliver the Apple products and services over the years certainly would require a certain type of mindset.

Whatever you may think of Steve Jobs there's no denying his legacy and the contribution he has made to almost every person and life currently living.

Taken too soon; who knows what a difference he might have made

Terrible screenplay where the same setup is repeated in every act, without really changing anything. Dialogue is good, even though it is more a couple of long conversations with time jums mashed together, but it becomes boring pretty fast if you aren't interested in the history of tech companies and/or Jobs. Thank god for Fassbender, Daniels and Rogen's great performances, otherwise it would have been even more of a pain to watch.

I should have done my research beforehand, since I was oblivious for the most part. However, and despite the fact that Fassbender's character really got on my nerves, the movie is fulfilled with great dialogue scenes.
Honestly, it got way more interesting by the end, I just wish the first part had that same kind of excitement. Finally, I believe this was the first time I've seen Seth Rogen into an heavier performance and I must say that I'm astonished by it. Very well done. All of them really.

You don't need to be a tech head to enjoy this film. I know the film may not be totally accurate but it does give an insight into the head of a great man, his successes and his flaws.

I am writing this on a MacBook so thank you Mr Jobs for your hard work and innovation... or at least your marketing skills. Rest in piece sir.

After one hour of just people arguing backstage, I fell asleep.

If you don't already (roughly) know about the events portrayed in the movie, you will probably be quite lost. No introduction of characters and their role. It rather resembles a chamber play, focussing mostly on exploring the details of of Steve Jobs character, not telling "The Apple Story". If you're looking for this, you should probably watch one of the other biopics.

Our children. Everything we do is for our children. And that's only matters.

From director Danny Boyle comes Steve Jobs, a fascinating biopic about one of the most influential men of our time. Written by Aaron Sorkin, the script is really good and explores the character of Jobs by looking at a series of revelatory moments throughout his career as he launches new and innovative computer products. Michael Fassbender gives an incredible performance, and the supporting cast, which includes Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, and Jeff Daniels, is quite impressive. However, the film is so focused on Jobs that the other characters are often overshadowed and underdeveloped. Additionally, little attention is given to the vision that Jobs had or the lasting impact that he and Apple have had on the digital revolution. Yet despite its weaknesses, Steve Jobs is a captivating film.

Boring. It has nothing with Steve Jobs or Apple.

The last ten minutes totally was worth the 2 hours of endless dialogue. Michael is brilliant.

Steve Jobs membawa kita ke balik kisah revolusi dunia digital, menggambarkan sosok cerdas yang kadang sulit dimengerti. Jatuh bangun perjalanan dan perjuangannya hingga tercipta komputer ikonik iMac.

I started crying hysterically thanks to the ending. And to think that I initially thought this film would suck... It's funny how life works sometimes

I believe that if you don't know his story, there's a big chance that you'll get lost in the timeline or maybe you'll struggle to understand the true impact some decisions had.

Other than that, Fassbender and Winslet made me care about their characters and that kept me engaged thought the movie.

Sharp, witty, ruthless dialogue makes this beautifully directed film is the Steve Jobs biopic, however fictionalised the events may be. This film will grip you from start to finish, full of tech homages and insight. The script is unashamedly Sorkin, and that makes it all the better.

Perfect acting in the second half, but predictable and banal.

This movie was clearly not for me. As a general Apple fan, I hoped to have seen a little bit more insight in his early life. The days he used to sleep on the floor in a friends dorm room and where he had to walk an hour to a church to get a free meal. I missed these details. They focussed to much on his personal issues and making him look like a complete douch bag. Acting was good, nothing particularly special.

Wonder if there will be another Jobs movie 2016? Can't wait.. /s

I like the feature, focus on 3 previous presentations, as people and talking to them, the touch Sorkin note, those talks through the halls

The first hour was very painful to watch, but it turns interesting somewhere in the middle, and I really enjoyed the movie after that. I gave it a 8 just because of that, otherwise it would have been a resounding 7. Can we please stop with the Steve Jobs movies now? Thanks!
