A very one-sided documentary by Gibney, aimed at one and one only: to highlight the ruthless 'CEO' Jobs was. Jobs' positioning and typecasting in this documentary borders on sensationalism.

'Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine' Gives very little insight in the man Jobs and would have worked almost better as a 60 Minutes episode than as a full feature length documentary. Hatchet job comes to mind due to the lack of positioning Jobs' behavior as that of a S&P 100 CEO but typecasting the man as a ruthless, emotionless arse.

After you watched this documentary, you know Apple is not Apple anymore without the role person - Steve Jobs. Apple is Steve Jobs; vice-versa.

I don't know enough about Steve Jobs to say it's one-side (as stated by ifranky). It is a very interesting documentary for an even more interesting man. Gives great insight in how special this man was for Apple and how he made Apple this big. It shows Jobs' negatives sides as well. Very interesting, and a must see for everyone who has heart in technology. 8*
