why is this on kanopy? why did I sit thru the entire thing?
the plot was terrible! who goes to someone's house for a dinner party (where they serve a spoonful of rice and a bowl of kale lol) and a) gets sexy with their partner in the other couple's bedroom and b) takes a note from underneath the couple's mattress and reads it
the note, by the way, does not even read like a s****** note (predictably, it's not) and the entire film is built around the visiting couple trying to figure out over dinner which of the other pair wrote it..... this is a v sensitive topic dealt w poorly. why make a "comedy" surrounding it ?? don't even get me started on the dialogue. and the lack of chemistry between the two couples was awkward to watch. not to mention the very visible scratches on the camera throughout the whole film, bad lighting, and shaky camerawork. it's shot exactly like a class project, which maybe it was. skip it!!
