I found this film by chance and it caught my attention because of the cast. Amy Adams, Emily Blunt and Alan Arkin were sufficient for making me wanna see this.
They all gave great performances in this story about a dysfunctional family composed by two sisters, their father and the son of one of the sisters. The two sisters start a company called "Sunshine Cleaning" and their work is to clean crime scenes after the police remove the corpse. The father is always looking for some scheme to make money to help raise his grandson, the younger sister isn't very responsible and the older sister is trying to create a better life for her and her son in the pursuit of their happiness.
The major problem with this film is the plot holes. Many details aren't explained and you feel kinda lost. There were some facts that I would like to know more of, some facts are presented to you without any previous introduction.
Overall, mainly it's a film of performances. It wasn't bad but it left me at the end wanting for something more.
