Super Size Me 2004

Meh. He lost me when he started yakking after eating a double quarter pounder with fries after only a few days in. Pu$$y. lol.

misleading and fearmongering is what this movie is about - try watching Fat Head (2009) - a reporter re-did the experiment while eating everything on the menu at least once - no starving, no 'salad only' diet, yet he was able to even loose weight while doing it and he even debunked Spurlocks sensationalism as outright deceitful.

I remember watching this in Science in like Year 10 and laughing at the fact that his sex life suffered. But like that's some screwed up stuff. As a lot of people have said, Morgan's experiment is extreme but it's so interesting to see what he goes through. What we have here is an extremely entertaining and shocking documentary. However, although it has many valid points, it shouldn't necessarily be taken as real scientific research.

After all these years I finally saw this. Very interesting documentary and thanks to it, I think I will not eat at McDonalds very soon.

I am McShocked!

It's a pretty good documentary, made me laugh and feel disgusted.

This movie was considered a fraud even when it came out and Spurlock recently indicated that he has been a functioning alcoholic for most of his life - the likely cause of his health issues and the excessive caloric difference between what he ate and the weight he gained.

This is more cash-grab than propaganda and more propaganda than documentary.

Oh so boring... I knew that it's a documentary, but I expected something more along the lines of Michael Moore's movies / documentaries, which really get you interested.

Not really what I expected as I thought it was a year long McDonalds fast not a month, but other than that it was just a decent watch with a good surrounding of the health portion. I really liked the part where they had 3 different doctors working with him which made the nutrition facts really interesting.

I think the only reason he did this "documentary" was to be able to eat some food, not the trash his girlfriend was feeding him.

Have you noticed that the guy he is interviewing, who eats two Big Macs daily, is not fat? Also, did the "doctor" really call McDonalds a high-fat diet? Was he blind or just stupid?
