Tau 2018

'We become are own creation' A great performance from 'TAU' in this action packed heartwarming Science fiction and It's still a better love story than twilight. XD

I didn't quite understand some of the story points - after all, I am only human and not an AI construct - but otherwise, this was an enjoyable and surprisingly emotional tale.

The initial approach is interesting, but as the film progresses, any sense or logic is lost.

I only have one word....
BRILLIANT

Excellent movie. Good thriller. The friendship that develops between Tau and Julia is very special. Well worth a watch.

Lots of fails. Boring movie 5/10

The plot doesn't offer any surprises or greater depth than similar products. It's a well executed average isolated prisoner thriller.
Bonus point for Maika Monroe though, she is exceptional.

very nice & cool movie. maika did a marvelous job with this one! the storyline and how they brought this AL to it and connected both of them was very unexpected and beautiful at the same time!! i was gonna jump and cheer for that ending: ) it got me really good lol

The main character is so stupid that you cringe at her decisions the whole time and wish you could be there instead of her and do what should be done, say what should be said etc. I won't spoil it but basically what happened could have been easily avoided if she wasn't a typical dumb bitch. The outcome could have been so much better. To me this movie was ruined by the character and the potential good story was poorly executed. Also the director needs to step his game up because the first 15 minutes were so boring that I almost turned it off and the scenes in general weren't shot very good.

A young person traps the most intelligent man on the planet and the most advanced computer in the world with her street smarts while the heart-sick AI with the emotions (!?) of a 3-year-old shouts with pain when its master deletes lines of code to punish it!? The worst movie I've seen in ages.

There was nothing really too special about this movie, but I really thought it was heartwarming and I loved the bond between Julia and Tau.

This was quite a bit more enjoyable than I anticipated. It's not necessarily very well written, but Monroe makes it compelling and Oldman as Tau was a nice touch. Solid low budget sci-fi thriller from NF that I waited until I was on a vacation w limited downloaded options to watch.

first tau seemed like an interesting concept, but after all it turned out stupid and pointless. we did not get the answers to a lot of things and it was cheesy. anyway maika was amazing i love her. sorry but this one did not worked for me that well.

Such a foregone movie that also a child could write. Inexistent script, inconclusive plot, terrible acting. I think the poor Gary Oldman was taken in by mistake. Wasting of time

The script CONSTANTLY contradicts itself, there are so so so many faults. It's just overall a very amateur movie.

The movie was okay, I have it 6 out of 10 because we never learn anything. it's not a spoiler, because there is nothing to spoil. you never understand what was the project, to whom, and what Alex actually wanted to achieve. other than that is a nice movie.

Not bad, but a lot of questionable decisions.

The movie was empty. The bad guy "Alex" was terrible. Julia was ok. The IA is thé only thing almost good, but that needs more, the history was so poor...
