Tour-de-force for Gosling—and perhaps Believer is more relevant than ever in 2020. I don't recall from first watch (or reviews) how much of the film is faithful, but by and large core plot is "true story" of New York Times journalist outing Jewish man living Neo-nazi life and the unravelling that ensues.
Ryan Gosling is an accomplished actor with extraordinary body of work but in my opinion hasn't matched since, the intensity and intelligence brought to Henry Bean's film.

It's really a shame that no one went to see this movie because of it's controversial subject matter, because it is actually quite good.
Ryan Gosling stars as a Neo-nazi that grew up Jewish and the movie focuses on his internal struggles between the two contradictions. The movie has a lot to say about religion and faith, and is actually quite compelling at times.
Although it's not perfect, i think this movie is worth watching.
