The Big Noise 1944

Well with this one being made by 20th century fox it just didn't feel like L&H and mostly nothing new but old gags brought into it but it was alright and did make me laugh at times but It's a shame it didn't feel 100%.

I can't believe I actually found a Laurel and Hardy movie I didn't know.

Yes, their movies are repetitive. But I have always been a huge fan - shoot me.

“:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:You could call it The Depths Of Winter:asterisk_symbol::asterisk_symbol:” - Stan Laurel in response to eccentric inventor’s alarm when he sprayed white paint all over priceless pairing ‘The Rise of Spring’

He’s razor sharp and he’s not the fool he makes himself out to be.
... And Olly is even more of a pompous arse than I remember. But his 4th-wall-breaking despairing glances are brilliant. This clearly inspired Martin Freeman in The Office.

I know Mr Inventor is meant to be a little bit creatively bonkers, but wouldn’t locking the bomb in a case and in a safe be, well... safer than entrusting in two hapless buffoons..?

Or how about making such a devastatingly dangerous weapon slightly less easy to detonate? It’s not a fucking crystal egg!

“What are you wearing a hat for?” Ollie with his typically passive/aggressive criticism of Stan’s harmless peculiarities .
“Well you never know who you might meet.” - I love him. Can’t quite fathom him out, but that just adds to his charm.
