Castle of the Living Dead - great title, very little to do with the actual story. Yes, there is a castle. Aside from that, this is just a gothic horror movie with a mad scientist working more in the domain of magic, rather than science. The movie is very slim on plot, and it has a fatal flaw - at least for me - there is humor shoehorned in. Donald Sutherland plays a bumbling police officer, who seems to only be there to make the audience feel better about what is otherwise a fairly serious story. I hate misplaced comedy in horror movies. Beyond that, the movie is okay, boring, but not too bad.
