It looks good with the snowy city landscape, but it's the same gang war / infiltration story that's already been done dozens of time. Change the place, period and names, but it starts, goes, and ends exactly as you would expect.
One weird thing is his wife. Clearly introduced as "a marriage arranged by the clan" and "we were married but total strangers". So you'd expect there'd be a story there, as he she could be a spy and he'd have to hide from her. But one hour into the movie and suddenly he spills everything to her, she betrays the clan for him, and "the first time I saw her I knew she was the only one". wtf... But just makes the story even more basic.
