I enjoyed this film, I did feel like it was a little slow but it's worth a watch if you don't have much to do in the day. My favourite bit has to be the ending when the kid is on stage preforming comedy and start swearing. :D

Even the jokes (or the stand up comedy, if you like) are not that funny. I wonder what the originally draft of this movie was like with Sean Penn on board to direct. The thing that gave De Niro the desire to make this movie, however with his recent work, his decisions are becoming more questionable.

What a great cast. The plot is secondary, De Niro’s performance is outstanding and was so funny and enjoyable.

Robert De Niro is pretty invested in his performance in The Comedian. I'd say its one of his better performances in recent memory but the film around him is basically plot less and really doesn't have any story to tell. It is pretty fun to see De Niro insult people every where he goes and Leslie Mann makes a pretty good companion for him but the movie just falls flat overall.
