There is no denying that this is an awful film, that works more like an 80s propaganda video for American military and contains simplistic Middle Eastern politics, the worst stereotypes possible and gung-ho patriotism that you would come to expect from of a film like this. The film gets much sillier and cheesier, and perversely much better as a result, towards the end, but this is at best a guilty pleasure for an audience brought up on a slew of 80s action films in their youth. It does have a cheesy score that is very difficult to get out of your head though.
The reviews are trying to tell me this wasn't good, but they can suck it. This movie is a blast. Marvin is kinda sleepwalking through it, but I think it's one of Norris's best. It's got an awesome score too.
A mediocre action movie at best, with unbearable propaganda for the US army (at one time, they actual say something like "let's fly to Israel, our only friends in the middle east" (!)).
I wanted to watch this because Chuck Norris is in it. As it turned out, this is another piece of shit movie with 80's Jew propaganda against the middle easterners. Yawn...! :rofl:
I thought that this was going to be terrible. Then the hijacking, although racist and awful, was fairly well done and I thought maybe I've misjudged this film.
I had not.
Gets worse the longer it goes on and the more Norris is in it. Teerible

This is a decent Chuck Norris movie that I always catch on TV. Maybe I should buy the DVD from Amazon so I wouldn't have to watch the sad juxtaposition of ass-kicking for the young audience interrupted by ads for the old & drunk (e.g. A Place For Mom, Addiction Recovery) to imply TV just airs nothing for a fickle young audience who holds their liquor who can watch something at their will.
