I loved this movie. It's from the 80's so right there it has a lot going for it. The story takes it's time and it does not spoon-feed the viewer every single detail. The film assumes you are aware of its subject matter.
Slow and brooding, but ultimately a hard movie to give any kind of praise for as so much of it is just spent between her home, the hospital and with her children, where specific parapsychology events occur.
This movie could have been easily an hour shorter and still not really accomplished much in telling of the case of Carla Moran, whether it was all real or not, or simply physical events of The Entity portraying themselves to others. The movie would have you believe it was a real paranormal activity.
Barbara Hershey must have a thing for paranormal films since she went on later to do the Insidious franchise.
Love this film
