Life sometimes isn't fair... This film that i've seen a few times keeps on getting better, it's truly a wonderful moving heartwarming film, and it has no faults, everything to cast, sound tracks, picture, plot, beginning to the ending this film is ace.. 9/10
One of those movies which will make you smile with tears and sad while feeling happy. YES, i might not make sense, but the movie is surely a wonderful, cute and beautiful story told. Being a guy did it bring tears to my eyes? Yes it did! Watch it on a day where your mind is disturbed and you will forget all your problems in a minute.
Absolutely hated the book, and the majority of the movie's dialogue still makes me cringe, because it's just ridiculous, let's be honest. But it's much more tolerable thanks to Shailene and Ansel. Both are amazing here and the movie simply wouldn't be what it is without them or their beautiful chemistry and incredible performances. Definitely worth checking out.
if you feel the need to cry, watch this movie
I don't know what, but I cried the heck out of everybody by watching this film. I think Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley are better as a couple than as siblings as in Divergent. The way they look at each other make me numb. The way Gus smiles at her, speaks to her and stuff makes me swoon. It's really sad, what cancer can do to someone. I can't imagine losing someone as precious to me as Augustus Waters, because not only did he change Hazel's life, he also changed mine. #ShiftvW8
stayed very true to the books! Which I loved. Very good casting. Great movie.
I'm sobbing, best movie story ever.. Just crying crying like crazy
"Pain demands to be felt."
Halfway through I guessed the ending but it didn't make it less impactful. There are moments that are sad, but also heartwarming, and you can't help but enjoy Ansel Elgort's confidence.
The second worst thing to happen in the Anne Frank house
Okay. With all the knowledge of the spoiler and after a lot try to read the book when I failed, then I aimed for the movie. But literally it was a good one.Especially the acting helped it to go on.Liked its way of presentation.
The book was really nice, I give it a 8 but this movie was like a 6. Nice to see for once but isn’t a must.
This movie took a little while to get into it. However this is a deeply moving story that is good to watch.
It someone did not cry once during the entire movie: Check your pulse. Maybe your already dead.
I don't what i was waiting for but this movies was in my computer for last 3 years. just loved it
It gave a sad feeling at the start and till the end it grew sadder and sadder
7 - Good
This is just one of those movies romantic tear jerkers. Haven't read book, but I do want to now
tho there was some problems in the script and caused some unreasonable scenes ... the movie is so touching and loveable.
It did justice to the book.
This was one of my favorite movies of the year. I know, I know... it was probably aimed at 15 year old girls. But it really wasn't - there was nothing syrupy or drippy about it. I like that it took an unexpected path. Someone asked me if it made me cry. No, it actually raised my spirits.

Love this movie. A good story and a practical ending
I have no words. That has to be one of the most beautiful love stories ever ...and a truly hearth breaking one.
Cancer movies can be the most shameless and emotionally manipulative movies around. I think that The Fault in Our Stars manages to avoid the majority of those issues. The characters are lovely and both Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort bring them to life beautifully and there are some moments where the script drags slightly but I found myself interested in their story for the whole run time. Augustus was a very well written character and I thought there couldn't be a much better portrayal of that character.
I saw the trailer for this film quite some time ago and it made me pretty darn emotional - so my husband forbid me to watch the film. He knows how I get... and like so many others I have a personal experience of cancer killing someone deeply loved. This film is special. It's not easy to handle the questions of mortality and the prospect of near death, but The Fault in our Stars does so and does it well. It is a very hopeful film, a beautiful film about life and death... and oblivion.
The book is better but i like it
This is one of the most touching and beautiful movies I have ever seen. Shailene Woodley is such an amazing young actress who makes everything so believable but not just her performance also that of Ansel Elgort brough this story to life. It's not just the sadness of the story which is firstly about cancer but there is a beauty to this tragedy that Hazel and Augustus have with their deep connection and love. It's genuine and truthful, relatable and still so so sad.
I loved it and cried lots.
Makes you be grateful for every single thing you have and makes you realize that life is "so unfair".
i don't like movies about romance but i almost cried and this movie deserves 10/10
Ohh.. gosh!!! I guess people like fairy tales.
I cried like a baby, truly inspirational and one heck of a movie
I really cry and lot, makes you remember to appreciate life
Normally most Dramas isn't anything for me. But I gave this one a chance, and to honest it really touched me.
One of the best movies I have seen for a very long time.
BEAUTIFUL!!! For me this is the best summary. An incredible film about real love!!!
I feel kind of guilty for giving it only 6, but I didn't like it as much as I hoped to. It is a good movie, it got good acting and nice love story, but it felt more like a sad fairy tail than a true life story. I wouldn't watch it again but if you haven't seen it, go ahead and do it.
No puedo verla :c como le ago?
The infinitive vs. oblivion... as they say, the end is the beginning, the beginning is the end... ;>
One of the best love stories of the 21st century!
One of the best movie I have ever watched!!!
mencata esta peli llore mucho
such an amazing story!
I just keep crying and can't stop!
I love it!
I'll read the book
I'm heart broken.
Just wow. Dehydrated due to copious tears. Just wow
SO GREAT, AMAZING, ABSLOUTLY ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES EVER MADE.
wonferful movie. great actors. cried the whole time
كلمة رهيب قليلة في حقة
Wanted to hate it. The character of Augustus was so pretentious and annoying. Their budding romance was childish and irritating. The obsession with the book and writer almost obnoxious. I could go on. Having spent the second half of the movie crying I will give this a grudging 7. You don't have to like the people or identify with them to feel this movie. Pain is universal after all.
Best movie ever :'(
Both the book and the film made me cry
Excellent performance from both actors Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort who brought the characters of Hazel and Gus alive. Also by having author John Green on set was superb as the film did stay true to the book.
Highly recommend this film and make sure to bring tissues and water into the cinema as I was sobbing like crazy therefore making me dehydrated.
Film robbed the history of magic and emotions. The book touched me, the film deeply disappointed. Zero sparks between Shaila and Ansel. The tragic figure of the mother. Echh.
EXCELENT MOVIE!!
My advice take a box of tissues and share with everyone!
the film is good but ordinary, contrarily of the book.
the book has an extraordinary awesomeness
How can I watch the movie? Please answer anyone.
isaac was the real star of this movie
I wasn't ready for this, my feelings are so messed up and every single time I remember all these scenes I just wanna cry till my tears end up. With my sanity. Perfect adaptation.
Aquele momento que você tem que se fazer de forte e não chorar HAHAHAHAHA XD
Whilst so many good lines and scenes (some even crucial to the plot) were cut from the novel for this adaptation, this still managed to be one of the finest adaptations I have ever seen. It still packs the same emotion and the same atmosphere as the novel, and (most importantly) is faithful to the characters. A classic.
i think its a good movie
MANY FEELS, MANY TEARS, SO GOOD!!!!!!
well i won't be watching that ever again
IT WAS SO GREAT, IM IN TEARS STILL.
