Kind of another typical teen movie, Britt Robertson and Dylan O'Brien have good chemistry and that's what carrys this movie, solid flick nothing special.
A teen romance that is more about relationship than hooking up. It has an intimacy of conversation that separates it from the Hollywood teen movies that present the teen years as little else than sex, alcohol and partying. I like that this could be a play. Britt Robertson is at her best here and the chemistry with Dylan O'Brien is fresh and welcomed. The fact that it condensed the "firsts" to a weekend was more of a storytelling device than a statement, I thought, since what I felt distinguished this story was that the attraction was personality centred rather than heat seeking and the awkwardness was in navigating a course between those two forces. I give this film an 8 (really endearing) out of 10. [Teen Romance]
Finally a superb teenage movie..I am suprised from great perfomances and wayyy too good directing..Realistic and not excessive as i would expect it to be..Don't miss this one is underatted a lot! 8.5/10 as a romance movie!
