I expected more from Vincet.
this woukd be a 10 if it wasn't for Sophia Coppolas cringeworthy performance
I did like it in general, but in comparison to the first two it is like a distant relative.
I thought it was impossible, but I even liked the 3rd part less than first 2: it's again too lengthy (the opening feast lasted 31 minutes!), it happens nearly nothing (only the last 20 minutes were partly exciting) and the characters act illogical (if Michael really wanted to quit, he surely could have done so earlier)!
I do not care if everybody else hails "The godfather" trilogy as one of the best movie series there is: personally, I dislike it very much and can think of so many movies and movie series that are easily many times better, more thrilling, consistent, feature better actors and/or have way better story lines!

What a disappointing ending to one of the greatest stories ever told. The plot in this film is so... weird, it's like it goes nowhere, there's no real evolution and everything - from Vincent becoming Godfather to Mary dying and we not getting to see any revenge and just time jump to old Michael dying - felt rushed, even tho it's a 3 hour long movie. So something clearly didn't work there. The inclusion of the church and the curroption around it felt overly simplified. The only thing that still pulls me in about this is Michael's character, I freaking love him. His desire to be better and his crushing regret about the life he led make his character even more complex and fascinating to get to know. I also loved their return to Sicily, as the scenes spent there always end up being my favourites in any of the films.

A decent movie, but another step dosn from the second movie.
I'm almost inclined to redact points for the godawful acting of Michael's daughter Mary. I've seen porn with better acting than that girl.
The rest of the cast excelled though, the story is just mediocre.
Version 2020 : long version above 3 hours
Its virtue is that it maintains the quality of the previous parts.

what a sad ending to this beautiful story. the movie was rushed though and going nowhere and everywhere, it felt messy. i didn't expect her to die so it kinda caught me off guard and almost emotional, i was preparing myself for them to be in cemetery and then Michael in the garden playing with his grandson or something, like his dad before.
this movie is not going to be the same on December 8th!
A disappointing end for the saga of Corleone's family. This last film of Godfather franchise doesn't even touch the artistry of its two predecessors.
The loss of loved ones hurts the most...
Girl, why was this better than Part II I'M SCREAMING
It's fine but nowhere near as good as the first two.
It would be a 7/10 rated movie but last 20 minutes made it clearly a great movie.Not even close to 1 and 2 but still a worth watch movie.Ending scene was shocking even though you were prepared for this. 7.7/10
Still too long, but interesting regarding the content. However I found the plot a little bit too confusing. The end was full of suspense but I still couldn't grasp what the motives are.
can't believe Sofia "won" for Worst Supporting Actress and Worst New Star.but she good at directing.
Tragic ending to a classic
Cinema Paco 2: Picture 4, sound 3.25. Great end of the trilogy, does not reach the level of the other 2, but better than I remembered and yes Sofia Coppola mediocre. Bridget Fonda when acting, I looked on IMDB and does nothing since 2002

Really hard to frame this movie. Is it perceived as inferior to the other two because the franchise has become tired after two film (what I am more inclined to think), or are there other reasons? I do not know myself.
