Bad meta. Bad! Why can't this creepy parking garage guy just do a little cosplay and write some bad fanfiction? Oh wait, that's what The Human Centipede 2 is! But when the writer writes bad fanfiction about his first film, is that fanfiction or have we done some weird Inception type thing?
And writers, "100% medically accurate"? LOL no. Medically accurate is not the same as a good prognosis. A doctor can stitch practically anything onto or into the human body. That doesn't mean the patient will go on to live a healthy life or even live for any considerable length of time.
It's too bad this sucked so much. If you ignored the subject matter? It's shot beautifully.
Just watched the colored version. If you thought the black & white version was disgusting, than definitely don't watch this version! Personally... I loved it :)
Absolutely disgusting, but I think that's the point so I guess it succeeded in that manner.
Shitty movie, but I laughed so much.
I really pushed myself out of my comfort-zone for this one. I remember my ex talking about it when it came out and I was genuinely horrified at the thought of it's content. But a stronger, more objective me sat down after making it through the first sequence and I genuinely thought it was a screwed-up brilliant mess. Horror films rarely leave an impact on me, but the sheer sadistic nature really left a mark on my desensitised soul. I liked the contrasting style of the film to the original as Six goes for a different tone this time around. Thought it had a interesting meta storyline as well; particularly enjoyed Ashlynn Yennie's characterisation of herself.
In the first 5 minutes I already knew that the film would be awful and guess what? It was awful, worse than the first!
This was definitely worse than part 1.
it does it's job...it takes a lot to get me disturbed or actually wanting to pause from time to time, but this did it. could not eat anything afterwards because it was that damn horrid. that's the point of the movie though, it did the job... and it is the first horror movie I will never watch again :grinning:
Absolutely grotesque. The filming style and acting was actually pretty good, but unless you have a strong stomach, I would markedly avoid this film. I love me a gory horror, but this is beyond that. It actually made me heave.
"Human Centipede 2" was worse. They wanted to do a sequel but didn't know what to do, so they came up with this weird slasher film/"Eraserhead"/"Blair Witch 2" take on it. That's an hour and a half I won't get back.
This movie is really sick. Worst than the first one!
sh*t, i get in now ))
z3us, what for?
8 people have watched The Human Centipede II at the moment. I need 4 more...

If the first one wasn't that bad, this one is. It's basically a parody of itself with a little meta added. It just goes for shock. You thought the first one needed more blood, torture and shit ? Well here it's all shown.
In the first one, it was done by a mad genius, here it's a sicko retard. So the carefully prepared operation with scalpel and anesthesia is there done with hits on the head, scissors and staples, so we're full on Z movie torture porn. Also it's really well portrayed, (well, if you accept the whole thing as a parody), and without saying a single word of the whole movie. He's a total psycho, perfectly disgusting, barely qualifying as human (though yeah, difficult childhood, tough family).
I liked the meta part. Martin being obsessed by the movie, his little book, one of the original actresses playing her own role.
It's not more thought than the first one. Like, nobody even wonders what happens in this parking lot ? So many people disappear or die, a kid left for days in a car, nobody notices anything ? The first people are probably left there for days, after getting repeatedly hit on the head, or shot or something else. How are they not dead ? And don't tell me they could not have escaped during this whole time.
There were not that many gore scenes in the first one, so here they go full on that, mostly just on the "what shocking thing could we put in ?" line of thought than real integration in the story though:
- There's blood all the time, everywhere
- Cutting knee tendons with scissors
- Long shitting scene, leaking at all seams
- Rape using barbed wire
- Woman squishing her barely born baby (why the hell would she do that ? If she waited long enough to give birth, she could have waited 20 seconds more to put the baby on the seat before stepping on the pedal)
- And killing everybody at the end
So, some good ideas, but in the end, it just went for shock, without much originality or talent.
