Could have been great, as it's based on an excellent plot. But all the actors except Charlie Condou are "chewing the scenery," and the editing is slow (as to be expected for the decade in which it was made). This movie would make a fabulous remaster, edited down to eliminate all the fat. There is surely 120 minutes of usable footage here. Best watched on fast-forward.
