Very interesting to watch and alarming to see that the level of consuming is only getting higher and higher. Eventhough I would not recommend everyone doing minimalism right now (otherwise the economy will collapse big time (or maybe that is what we do need)) I would recommend everyone getting out of debt and stop spending money they don't have on stuff.

This documentary isn't that long so if you have that big void in your life that you try to fill with buying the latest gadgets and you have an hour to kill I would recommend watching this documentary. Maybe it will improve your life after doing what they do. Disclaimer: Minimalism in this documentary isn't about using as less stuff as possible, but just owning the stuff you use almost daily (or atleast once in 3 weeks) so that stuff actually add value to your life and start making you happy

I am only really rating this a 6 because I think that the directing was done well and I thought that the quality of the documentary was pretty good.

I was a fan of the original Minimalism documentary, but I feel like this is just a rehash. While it is a little bit different in that it does talk about the lives of Joshua and Ryan, there is not much else different to it really.

Although, I think that this is just a trend with The Minimalists in general. While their ideas are good, they seem to not really be able to talk about or produce any content about anything other than decluttering.

Overall, it is still a good film and sends good messages, but if you are going to watch a film about minimalism, I would recommend watching the original one over this one.

Even though the message of this is basically a clutter-free life and being happy with fewer items, it somehow still feels like an Amazon advert

I thought this was a very nice documentary! I've definitely had issues with shopping to fill a void and found the things mentioned very inspirational and applicable to use in my own life.

I really like the idea of only having what you truly use and getting rid of stuff that is making you stressed (don't get rid of important stuff tho lol).

I am editing this comment to say that although this was the documentary that got me into minimalism, it was a bit cringy. A lot of talk avout themselves and after having seen the first one it does appear to basically be a copy of it.
