The Old Dark House is a fun murder mystery spookfest set in creepy old mansion where Tom Porston has to deliver his roommate's new car. He later finds out that the family members can't leave the house or they'll lose their inheritence. He wants to help Cecily Femm to get out of the house but find himself stuck there as the family members are killed one by one. More laughs than horror. It takes away the horror elements and turns into a pure slapstick comedy. I don't think that's a bad thing. It's so silly and dumb in a pleasant way. The script is mostly intriguing. Tom Porston is so effortlessly funny by his manner and expression. I can't help but laugh. The rest of the cast is also amazing!
