I skipped every scene without Kate Beckinsale in it. I'm sure the rest of the movie was good, but I will never know.
A melancholy film, to be enjoyed slowly ... superb!
The scenarios are magnificent, obviously.
The kind of film that has the makings of an American classic... but falls way short. There are some effective moments, but you have to see through the cliches and pretensions to find them. A pity, as the cast are good and the direction is fine. It's the script that lets the side down, falling flat on regular occasions.
As a previous comment below mentions… any scene without Kate Beckinsale really ain’t worth watching.
Lovely movie for a Sunday evening.
Great movie with an interesting story with a twist. I liked the pace of this movie allowing you to savour what was happening and imagine future scenarios. A nice watch
