Without being a masterpiece, the 1st movie was very effective. This was an unnecessary sequel ( like many withing the genre unfortunately ) . Plain dull with crude characters only relying on sound and light effects to try and keep us "awake" and interested. Some "empty" movies can really do that, this one not even close. If like me you enjoyed the 1st one, avoid this at all costs.
Utter garbage. Lots of loud noises trying to wake you up. Avoid.
I had to stop this after 30 (boring as hell) minutes... it was just plain horrible. The first one hasn't been terribly original but this one takes the name and ideas and makes everything soooo much worse. Choppy acting and line delivery, shit story, bad editing, bad music, no tension at all, more funny than scary scare scenes and fx and so on. Skipping through the rest I regret nothing.
