The movie was scary enough. It makes us believe in both. Great!
If you like exorcism movies you'll like this one. Ofcourse it doesn't offer anything truly new and original but how could it. Saying this is a boring rehash of other movies is the same as stating all slashers and action movies are.... Which isn't wrong ofcourse, but there's nothing wrong in being so.
Hopkins as always is great, although very Hopkins and all of his scenes are delightful (especially the ones where he become the demon). I enjoyed it but I'm a sucker for Demonic/Satanic movies and there are much worse movies out there than this one.
Was good, better than the others talked about IMO.

Anthony Hopkins is good at making me wonder what is behind those mysterious eyes (only to creep me out later). I thought this was just ok, then I saw that it is based off a priest's book about his life. That makes it a little more interesting.
The Best Exorcism movie you can watch, not about scary things but accurate
Yes yes, it miss the points from time to time but hey, it wasn't as bad as they say. And Hopkins is still a pleasure to see.
Hopkins stood up to the task. As for a movie based partly on facts, it quite efficiently builds tension as a light horror film.

Typicall exorcism movie; nothing new. If you've seen "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" or "The Exorcist" it's just the same formula. With one movie like this is enough. Didn't enjoyed it, except for the company ;-)

anthony hopkins is always a delight to watch, and unfortunately for colin donoghue i think 75% of his attractiveness resides in his accent and beard
