Pretty neat first half, deconstructed giallo in beautiful art nouveau setting, even though some over use of hard contrast. Second half gets a bit tedious with repetition and permutation that loses momentum but probably makes a neat matrix for somebody invested enough to investigate. Funny how the main reference is film, but personally my association is closer to some arty graphic novels.
